Purpose of Using Conductor Covers for Power Lines

 


Creating a barrier to two energized phases is the purpose of using conductors covers for power lines - an energized phase and a ground source - so they cannot be simultaneously connected. Conductor covers are used as insulating equipment which doubles as an effective method of isolating wildlife from power lines. Conductor covers snap into place without pins or clamps, and provide 80 inches of coverage, available in rigid or flexible.
